The new board of Dee4Life held its first meeting last night, with the following members elected as office bearers:

• Chair – Norrie Price
• Secretary – Gary Cocker
• Treasurer – Grant McGregor
• Membership Secretary – Ross Day
• Communications Officer – Grant Hill
• Liaison Officer – George McIrvine

The new post of Liaison Officer will see George look to build strong relationships with other groups, such as the DSA and Historic Trust, as well as with the new SLO when one is appointed and external organisations.

As Membership Secretary, Ross will lead our efforts to significantly increase the number of Dee4Life members. He will work closely with Grant Hill to improve comms with existing and potential members, with work to develop a replacement website already underway. Grant H will also take on the role of Vice-Chair.

Last night’s meeting saw many subjects discussed, and the formation of working groups dedicated to modernising and improving Dee4Life’s operations. These cover:

• Internal Reform
• Fundraising & Finance
• Membership & Fan Engagement
• Communications

We will share more information about the outcome of this work as it progresses, along with our overarching strategy to ensure the voice of Dundee supporters is heard.

Rebuilding our relationship with the club is our key priority, and we will today be writing to John Nelms and Tim Keyes to express our hope that recent positive changes within both organisations can act as the catalyst for a fresh start. All parties desperately want Dundee to succeed on and off the field, and we will be seeking to meet with the club board to discuss ways we can help make this happen, while also asking questions on behalf of our members and the wider fanbase.

We want as many people as possible to play their part in making Dee4Life the representative vehicle that Dundee supporters need and deserve. To sign up for just £5 a year, please visit or click "how to join" at the top of this page.

Full minutes of last night’s meeting will be shared in due course.
