Some important information was sent out to all Club Dundee members on Friday.

We have had some problems with Direct Debits therefore we require members to switch to a Standing Order. Full details are in the letter.

Also included in the mailshot are a members update and also a DVD of all the goals and highlights from last season.

Although we are currently planning our future Strategy and vision we are also keen to create an archive of our past activity and achievements over the last 3-4 years.

A media section has been added to the website (see link on left) which allows you to view various media articles in relation to Dee4Life. The section will grow on an ongoing basis.

The Junior Dees are inviting you to enter our draw, with the prize being exclusive sponsorship for season 2008/2009. We did this very successfully last year, and believe it offers unparalleled value for money.

Junior Dees, is a “membership” scheme, run for the young supporters of Dundee Football Club. Our membership ranges from newly born to 16 years old, and, with over 1000 under 16’s on the Dee4Life database, our aim is to increase the Junior Dees membership significantly next season.

Our members enjoy a large number of benefits and each receive a membership pack, and Birthday and Christmas cards. They can also travel to certain away games on a supervised Junior Dees bus, and are automatically entered into a draw to become a mascot on match day where they can lead the team out onto the pitch.

For ALL the entrants, your name will be featured on the Dee4life website for 1 full month, and in the first home programme of the season. For the winner, the full list of benefits is as follows:

Dee4Life will be represented at the Supporters Direct Scottish conference on Sat 7th June at Stirling University.

There are four topics for delegates to folow through the day; Ownership, Community, League Structure and Regulation. Delegates will hear from a range of speakers on each topic and help contribute to a final conference report which will go some way to guiding the priorities of the organisation over the next year.

The lucky winner of a season ticket is Ian Robertson of Fairfield Road, Broughty Ferry.

The draw was done by D4L board members George Knight, Nikki Robb & Ryan Ireland at Dens Park on Saturday.

The next monthly draw (June 2008) will be done earlier than usual due to the special prize on offer.

The club have kindly provided a season ticket for the draw this month and one members name will be drawn at this Saturdays committee meeting at Dens.

Special thanks to the Board for providing this excellent prize as well as the 2 signed MAC shirts which were won recently by Dean Black and Grant Lorimer.

The monthly draws for April/May will take place on Friday and all members have the opportunity to win the new DFC home shirt signed by Mickael Antoine-Curier. We have 2 shirts to give away and the winner will be announced on Saturday. In addition to this fantastic prize we also have a gift voucher for £30 for Dundee Direct up for grabs

2007-2008 DVD

Our production team are currently working on a DVD of last season and this will be issued to all members once it is finalised. This is included in your member benefits.

Direct Debits

We have had some problems with the collection of some direct debits. This is being worked on with the bank and we will hopefully have everything resolved during the close season. If your payment has not been debited please bear with us - we will not try and collect any backdated payments once this is resolved....the direct debit will simply recommence.

DFCTV

All members should now be registered on DFCTV and be able to view all footage. If you have any feedback or problems with the site please get in touch with us via the 'contact us' page on DFCTV - http://www.dfctv.co.uk/contact.asp Don't forget you can maintain your details on the DFCTV site also by clicking on 'update my details' when logged in

Member Benefits

We are planning some improvements to the members benefits package and the production side of things for next season. More news will follow on this over the summer

In the meantime a big thank you to everyone for their committment and support. Club Dundee now has 312 members which we are really pleased about. We will be looking to increase this number for next season and ask you to spread the word. We also welcome any feedback, ideas and offers of help from any of our members.

There was great news at Dens Park today when DFC announced a trio of new deals.

First up, Mickael Antoine-Curier penned a new 3 year deal. The 6ft3 Frenchman was an instant hit during his loan spell from Hibs last season.

David Cowan has also verbally agreed a new 2 year deal whilst the club have announced a new shirt sponsorship deal with Bukta.
